KRIB Congratulated its Long-Term Partner Confindustria Bulgaria on the occasion of its 20th Anniversary

A series of events on October 14 and 15 in Sofia marked the 20th anniversary of Confindustria Bulgaria, an association of Italian entrepreneurship in Bulgaria, a collective member and long-time partner of KRIB.

"The partnership between Confindustria Bulgaria and KRIB has achieved remarkable results and we are extremely satisfied with the joint progress we have made over these twenty years. We are glad that our wonderful relationship is an emanation and continuation of the cooperation between KRIB and Confindustria Italy - the largest employers' organization in Europe. The Business Forum in Rome in October 2019 was a bright manifestation of our constructive interaction and friendship. We are convinced that, even in difficult times, our cooperation will continue to develop, because now it is even more important to work together for the prosperity of our countries and peoples”, said the congratulatory address of KRIB, presented to Confindustria Bulgaria.

The main guest of the events in connection with the 20th anniversary was Ms. Barbara Beltrame, Vice President of Confindustria Italy, responsible for internationalization. Confindustria Italy is the largest employers' association, with 220 members and more than 150,000 companies, employing a total of 5,438,513 employees.

During the economic forum "Restart - the new beginning", held on October 15, the representatives of the Managing Board of KRIB Mr. Lubomir Peinovski and Mr. Stoyan Stavrev had an in-depth conversation with Ms. Barbara Beltrame and Mr. Vincenzo Bocha, Chairman of Confindustria Italy in the period 2016-2020. In October 2019, a delegation of KRIB, led by the Chairman Mr. Kiril Domuschiev, held high-level meetings in Rome, including with the then Chairman of Confindustria Mr. Bocha.

"For us, the Italian entrepreneurs, the experience gained in Bulgaria during these 20 years of our association is valuable, because together we managed to build a community that works successfully for the economy of the country, which has accepted us as investors. Together we provide over 25,000 jobs in Bulgaria; the total turnover of our member companies is about 5.5 billion levs, and the turnover of our companies corresponds to 10% of the country's GDP”, said on the occasion Maria Luisa Meroni, President of Confindustria Bulgaria.
