FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE ON NEW MODELS FOR DIGITAL SKILLS PROJECT
"Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria" (KRIB) successfully completed the project "Development of new models for digital skills in response to the challenges of the future labor market". Its main objective was aimed at overcoming the imbalances in the field of digital skills of the employed persons, thus companies will have a better chance of successfully going through the digital transition. This was announced by the project coordinator, Galya Petrova, at the final press conference, which was held on June 30, 2023, at the KRIB headquarters in Sofia.
According to data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, only 1/3 of the working population in Bulgaria has basic digital skills. Company statistics show that every fourth small and medium-sized enterprise has implemented and uses new technologies, while in the EU this percentage is over 55%.
Against this background, the results achieved by the project can be extremely useful in the development of comprehensive policies for the development of human resources in the new digital reality. KRIB has successfully developed and tested 75 unified profiles for digital skills, one for each key occupation/job from 17 economic activities, on which the employer organization carried out an extensive analysis.
For each of the sectors KRIB has developed sectoral qualification frameworks for digital skills and curricula and content. Over 700 people have been trained within the project.
"As the largest employers' organization, it is extremely important for us to encourage and support real businesses to successfully overcome various challenges facing employment, the modern labor market and digitalization. I believe that all the tools and training programs that we managed to develop will help Bulgarian companies to improve the skills of their workers and, accordingly, to increase the efficiency of production and create new business opportunities," said Galya Petrova.
The project, which starts on September 1, 2021, is financed by the Operational Program "Development of Human Resources" 2014 - 2020", under the procedure "Development of digital skills" Component 2, BFP contract No. BG05M9OP001-1.128-0003- C01. According to it, KRIB's partners are the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
CONFERENCE ON THE TOPIC: "BENEFITS OF DIGITALIZATION OF PROCESSES FOR THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY, GOOD PRACTICES"
In the period May 17-18, 2023 in the Rila Hotel, k.k. Borovets "Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria - KRIB - The Voice of Bulgarian Business" will hold a conference on the topic: "The benefits of digitization of processes for the Bulgarian economy, good practices".
Within the framework of the two-day conference, key partnerships and opportunities for digital transformation at the national and European level will be presented, from which Bulgarian enterprises can benefit. During the conference, attention will be paid to the development of models of social partnership and KTD corresponding to technological changes and the digitization of work processes. Emphasis will be placed on the presentation of practical tools to support the digitization of Bulgarian enterprises.

KRIB WILL HOLD A CONFERENCE ON THE SUBJECT: "TRANSITION MECHANISMS TO AN INCREASINGLY DIGITAL ECONOMY"
KRIB SEMINAR ON "SPEEDING UP THE DIGITALIZATION PROCESS OF THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY"
On May 12, 2023 "Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria - KRIB - The Voice of Bulgarian Business" will hold a seminar on the topic: "Accelerating the process of digitization of the Bulgarian economy and achieving financial and economic benefits from this process." The seminar will be held in Sofia Tech Park, The Venue hall from 13.00:XNUMX p.m.
Within the framework of the seminar, the European and national framework will be presented, which define the possibilities and the set goals for digitalization of enterprises in Bulgaria. Emphasis will be placed on the digitization process and the possibility of introducing various digital solutions. Within the framework of the seminar, the developed platform for pilot informal learning will be presented, and practical guidelines for its use will be given.
