KRIB Presented the Awards for "Socially Responsible Company - Partner of Municipality" in Stara Zagora Region

On October 9, 2019 at a solemn ceremony in Stara Zagora for the first time were presented the awards of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) for "Socially Responsible Company - a Partner of Municipality" in the district of Stara Zagora.

The initiative was implemented jointly with the leaders of the municipalities of Gurkovo, Kazanlak, Radnevo and Stara Zagora, who nominated companies that operate in their territory and have an extremely large contribution to the development of corporate social responsibility for 2018.

The ceremony was opened by the President of KRIB-Stara Zagora Stefan Shoselov, who stressed that the initiative for social responsibility of the business is a major theme and the award for social responsibility marks good work and recognition for excellent companies.

The awards were presented by the Deputy Chairman of KRIB Prof. Dr. Sc. eng. Nikolay Valkanov. He addressed the awarded, pointing out how important it is for Bulgarian business to be socially responsible and to work with care for society, to support young people in their development and to assist in achieving good and quality education. He underlined the importance of good cooperation between business and government at all levels for the overall progress and for achieving a higher quality of life in the country.
