KRIBB'S OPINION ON BFIEC'S OPEN LETTER TO THE MEDIA

The Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria fully supports the position of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers - BFIEK, a collective member of KRIB, regarding their categorical disagreement with the attempts to increase the price of natural gas from January 1, 2010. as well as with the ongoing negotiations for the supply of gas from Russia after 2012 in the complete absence of information.

Once again BFIEK - an association uniting the largest industrial consumers of electricity and natural gas was informed by the media about an upcoming two-digit increase in the price of natural gas. The companies, which fully bore the burden of the financial and economic crisis and the responsibility for saving thousands of jobs, were informed by the media about another price jump for natural gas, which the monopolist Bulgargaz is preparing.

KRIB fully supports the requests of BFIEK to prevent the increase in the price of natural gas during a crisis, especially when the price of this fuel is significantly lower in Europe.

KRIB insists on the formation of a working group at MIET with industry representatives to participate in the renegotiation of the conditions for the supply of natural gas from Russia.
