The Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria, which unites over 10 companies, realizing three quarters of the country's GDP, expresses its concern over the frequent manifestations of social tension and the attempts to direct them against large Bulgarian and foreign investors from various sectors of the economy.
KRIB considers the existence of a free competitive market as a mandatory condition for achieving economic growth and development of all sectors of the Bulgarian economy. The main function of the state is to ensure compliance with existing legislation and create a favorable market environment.
Any suggestion of possible state intervention in the ownership and operation of private enterprises can only lead to a deterioration of the investment climate, since even the best state regulator is unable to achieve a better balance of the interests of producers, traders and consumers than real market competition.
